How long does a typical photo shoot last?
The photo shoot can take an average of 30 minutes to an 1 hour depending on the size of the home. The shoot will take longer if photos and a virtual tour is also requested. Virtual tours add about an hour/1000 square feet.
How should I prepare my home prior to the shoot?
How much notice is required?
We appreciate 48 hours advance notice. We pride ourselves on quick and efficient service. In special circumstances, we’ve been able to book same-day appointments. However, we ideally recommend at least 48 hours advance notice to ensure you receive the appointment time that works the best for your vendor and that they have time to prep their home for the shoot.
What is the turnaround time?
We can usually get photos back to you within 48 hours. In most cases you will have your photos the next day.
How will the photos be delivered?
Photos will be emailed to you via a link provided. You will receive MLS ready digital images in the order that best represents the home.
Why should I choose your company over the others I’ve seen advertised?
Simply put… we offer extremely personal service, we do not subcontract to part-time or unprofessional photographers and our prices are extremely low relative to the incredibly high quality product that you are guaranteed to receive.
I see the term “HDR” mentioned when you describe the quality of your photos. What is this?
HDR refers to “High Dynamic Range.” We utilize a photographic process where by we combine multiple exposures of the image and combine them digitally afterwards to provide a final photo that more accurately reflects the amazing tonal and color range of the human eye. This process showcases the natural light of the home. This process also requires much less time for the realtor or home owner being present during the shoot. Other photographers may use flashes which takes longer to shoot and doesn't showcase the natural lighting inside the home.
What are your virtual tours?
We create 360 degree virtual tours in 3D based on the Google Street View technology. You are in control of viewing the interiors! We use a new state-of-the-art 3D property mapping system called the 3D Pro Matterport Pro. This camera, with built in laser scanner, literally creates new perspectives of a property such as photo-realistic floor-plan generation, 3D Doll-house views and very fluid virtual tour walkthroughs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept a cheque, cash, credit cards or e-transfers as well. Monthly invoices can be provided to Realtor, client or company.
What are the payment terms?
Once an invoice has been issued, payment must be received within 30 days.
Do you issue a receipt?
After your payment is processed a receipt will be processed.
Do you photograph properties outside of Saskatoon?
We shoot within 50km of Saskatoon’s city limits. Additional mileage wil be added for locations outside this area.
Do you shoot commercial buildings?
Yes we also photograph commercial properties. Please contact us for a quote.
What is your policy on cancellations?
If cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, please do so with a minimum of 24 hours notice. For reasons other than weather, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged if scheduled shoot is canceled within 24 hours. Every effort will be made to accommodate a rescheduling.
